I came here from all way at the top of Indiana and the bottom of Michigan and I can say during my visit to the area, the food definitely stands out as some of the best family dinner food I have had compared to what I usually eat in Indiana, and with the restaurant sharing a space with an car parts store, I am impressed. With other places to eat with more and higher star reviews, they still thrive with good food that I start to crave at just the thought of it, not to say that it was the best food In my life, but definitely a great place to have breakfast if you are in the area.

I love the portions they serve here. I do not leave hungry. The food is more homestyle than what you get at other chain branches. Try to eat here everytime I'm in town.

This place was okay. Nothing to brag about. Omelette was good but hash browns were cold and not cooked quite as I asked.

It was ok. Nothing special. Food was cooked well, but my omelette was missing the bacon. 1st restaurant that was open on our route home south from Paradise. Prices a little high. But I would go back again. Waitress was great...

My friend and l stopped for supper tonight and it was very good and plenty of food. Wonderful waitress also! Love good service!

I love this place. I have yet to be disappointed with the food or service. A group of 7 of us went in on Mothers Day for lunch, not thinking how busy it would be due to Mothers Day. We were able to be seated immediately, great service.

The pancakes are good. The omelets are very mediocre. It's decent but if you are paying these prices you might as well get breakfast downtown in Charlevoix

The food was good, but very over priced for what we got. The restaurant decor was ok.

The food wad exquisite. Our waitress Susan was an absolute doll. Made Mother's Day very enjoyable. We will for sure visit again.

Best food at cheap price with excellent portions

Deb was a great server, the food was good but we can not believe that they charge 3.29 for a piece of side toast. Careful ordering sides here, that's how they'll get you.

I've gone to Flap and eaten alone, and I've also gone to Flap and taken a party of 8. I've gone to Flap when they are slow and I've gone to Flap when they are swamped. The situation doesn't matter the service is always friendly and the wait is never longer then what I consider a "normal" wait. On top of that the food is always good. As of right now I've never had a bad experience.

Good food service

Great food. Average meal costs $10. Good sized portions so it's well worth it. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner there! Service was good. Took a while to get our bill though.

Money...check it out......had us in and out in 21 minutes before our ferry.

The bad reviews on this place are accurate. High prices and poor food quality! I am positive my pancakes where frozen pancakes. Cheap cheese was used (plastic like) and not fresh bacon. I wish we would have gone a few miles to McDonald's...would have been better food.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Grandson thought it was cool to have a train running near the ceiling.

The employees here are super nice and there isn't ever a very long wait-time for your food:)

Well where do I begin.... we walk in to the restaurant and clearly they only had ONE waitress for the entire place. This male worker made the comment "now try not to spill this one" after I accidentally spilled my water on the table. When my boyfriend and I got our food it came on tiny little plates and they put veggies on the same plate with my fries and chicken so they were gross. My boyfriend got some breakfast dish and his food was over done and pancakes were "only okay". If my boyfriend doesn't eat his food or mine you know it is bad, he hates wasting food. Even just paying for our food that guy seemed irritated with everyone and that we inconvincing him. I'm clearly not impressed.

Great breakfast place. I like that they leave a carafe of coffee on the table and that they have some healthier and creative breakfast options instead of your standard breakfast fair.

Soooo overpriced! We went for breakfast and couldn't believe how expensive it was. Every little thing is extra, on top of breakfasts being an average of $12. Our server was great but that's the only good thing we can say. The portions were not large and the food was not impressive at all for the price.The decor is pretty worn and outdated also. We will not be back and we are baffled by the good reviews.
